Who you are dealing with

This site and the products sold through it belong to I DESIGN & STYLE CORP., a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada. Trading as I Design & Style. Everything is handled by email, at hello@idesignandstyle.com.

There is no office to visit and no phone line. Email is the only way to reach us.

Where purchases happen

Nothing is sold on this site. Every product is bought on Etsy, and Etsy handles the transaction end to end.

That means Etsy takes the payment, delivers the file, issues the receipt and collects any sales tax. Etsy’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the purchase itself, alongside the shop policies published on the listing. The terms on this page describe the same arrangement in one place; where a listing is more specific, the listing governs.

Licence and use

What you are buying is a licence to use the file, not ownership of the work in it.

Licensed for personal and single-business use. Use it on your own home, or in your own practice with your own clients, as many times as you like.

Not licensed for resale, redistribution, sharing as a file, or inclusion in another product, course or training programme. Please do not upload it anywhere.

Handing a product to several people — a brokerage, a property management team, a group of agents — needs a different arrangement. Say how many people and it can be sorted out.

After you buy

Your files are available immediately after payment on the Etsy download page, and Etsy also emails you a link. If you bought as a guest, the link in that email is your only copy — save the file somewhere you will find it again.

Files are print-ready PDFs. They open on desktop, tablet and phone, and print on standard letter paper. No software beyond a PDF reader is needed.

Refunds, returns and anything that goes wrong

Digital files cannot be sent back, so the rule is simple — and so is the exception.

Because every item in this shop is an instant digital download delivered immediately at checkout, we do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations. Nothing ships, and the file is yours the moment payment clears — so there is nothing to send back.

That said: if a file will not open, downloads incomplete, or is not what the listing described, message us. We will fix it or refund it. A broken file is our problem, not yours.

Raise it through Etsy first. For anything Etsy cannot resolve, write directly.

What the products are, and what they are not

Worth stating plainly, because two claims are easy to read into this work that are not being made.

No sale outcome is guaranteed. The kits tell you what to change in a room and in what order. What a house sells or rents for depends on the market, the price, the agent and the property itself, and a checklist controls none of those.

Feng shui is a design tradition, not a science. It is used here as a way of reading a floor plan, and every item in an IDS product works as standard staging practice on its own terms. None of it depends on believing anything.

Nothing in the products is legal, financial, tax, real-estate or building advice. Where a change touches structure, wiring, plumbing, permits or a tenancy, get the relevant professional.

Privacy

The honest version is that there is almost nothing to describe.

This site does not collect anything about your visit. There is no form, no account, no newsletter and no analytics, so there is nothing to record and no cookie banner to click. Our host keeps standard server logs, as every host does, and we do not read or analyse them.

That is where things stand today, not a promise for ever. If we add anything that collects information, whether a form, a mailing list, or a way of measuring how the site is used, this page changes before it does, and it will say what is collected and why.

Purchases. We only ever see what Etsy passes us to complete your order. There is no separate account to create, no mailing list you are added to by buying, and no data held outside Etsy.

Email. If you write to us, we hold your message and your address for as long as it takes to answer you and keep a record of the exchange. It is not used for anything else and it is not sold, rented or shared.

Under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@idesignandstyle.com and it will be actioned.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

Changes to this page

Terms change occasionally. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date below says when it last changed in substance. A purchase is governed by the terms published on the listing at the time you bought.
